23 - Sentaku - センタク - Choice

The ghostly woman arc Part II

24/Extra and Final Story - Tsuioku - ツイオク - Recollection (some networks will air this as episode 24, while others, TBS including, as an extra story).

The arc with Watanuki's ghost little friend (the one who taught him about the salt).

So, turned out that the previous episodes titles I gave you, Yakiniku and Sukiyaki, are all wrong. I'm sorry, it must have been some sort of bad rumor that got leaked, because all my sources had those episode titles as such, including ANN (they haven't updated the right names yet). Well, I'm glad ! Those episode titles sounded awful and they smelled like original episodes.

Good thing we'll have 2 episodes for the ghost woman arc, it totally deserves it, and it's such a good climax for the end of the series, and maybe season, hopefully.
I'm also super glad that the arc with Watanuki's ghost friend will also be there ^___^ I think that, with that, XXXHOLiC anime covered all of the first 6 volumes without any cuts (please correct me if I'm wrong) ! With some exceptions like the woman and the photography arc, which is from vol. 7, I think.


Tsubasa Chronicle Summaries:

Upcoming episodes:

19 - The Second Trial

The gand will land in the Nayutaya country. The country is similar to Koryo, as there's also a Chunyan and the evil Feudal Lord with his son (as many of you saw on 18's preview).

20 - The Secret Art of Gokui

I'm not so sure about this one, but I think they are still fighting their way to retrieve the feather from Chunyan's world.

21 - Working Sakura

The gang arrive to a new and modern world where they discover that Sakura's feather is being sold in a jewelry shop attached into a brooch (or something). However, they can't buy it because they don't have the money of that world.

22 - Feather King Chaos

The gang arrive in a new world where people can use some kind of special power. There, Mokona senses that the feather is located inside the castle of King Chaos.

PS: As you can see, these are very, very brief summaries, just to so we know what's coming next, and since I translated them myself, be aware that things might turn out to be different.

A new batch of original episodes... how exciting.... IMO, I don't think they'll fit the X arc in the remaining 4 episodes (they might introduce it at the last episode and leave it as a cliffhanger, though).

ANN is kinda weird cuz anyone can log in and change it.... reminds me of wikipedia. O_O' ah well. XD

take it from someone who occasionally logs in to update ouran high school host club and such. XD

Am I the only one with the dirty mind who read episode #21 in a very wrong way? "Working Sakura"...

By the way, Yuuto-kun. ANN, who's like Wikipedia in a way, says XXXHOLiC will have 32 episodes. So, do you know how many they will really be? Is 24 the finale, or there'll be one more season? I've heard so many things I'm confused.

I don't know from where ANN took that info, really, it's been like that from ages but it's wrong. All the official sources say it'll be 24 only (including CLAMP-NET), and that's it.
So far, I haven't heard of any official confirmation of a second season. If you ask me, I think it's only a matter of time for them to announce it (probably near the last episode) ^_^

I'm happy the woman story will be a two parter, I love that story in the manga. Watanuki crying gets me everytime I read it.

...I'm so glad that I've only glanced at a few Tsubasa episodes. In some ways, it may be good if they don't do X world, but in some ways it may be entertaining to watch them try. XD

Thanks as always. ^^ Jeez, a repeat of Koryo? Just what we need. xd And I agree with Amewarashi- 'Working Sakura' is a dirty title. xdxd Gyad too many fillers. ><

I'm really pleased ghost woman gets two episodes- it definitely deserves it. That's one of the best arcs, if not the best.

Bee Train keeps recycling all characters, and now worlds too, and that totally kills the uniqueness of them. It's sad...

I'm just not even going to bother with those TRC episodes. I wonder if there will be a 3rd season...although in fairness I suppose that the manga just isn't far enough ahead for them to start animating Tokyo now. oh well, holic sounds pretty good, and i'm excited for code geass. clamp + mecha = how can you go wrong?

I heard a rumor, but it's just a rumor, that there will be no season 3. Somebody said it at a japanese BBS but, I wouldn't go believing on it yet. But I can understand it, a little. I mean, with what's coming next, they'll have to change and censor things so much, and in the end it'll look so different than the manga that maybe it's better not do it at all...

Yo, Chibi-Yuuto! Episode 20 of the Tsubasa Chronicle is the second part in Chunyan's world. This is kind of similar to the one in Koryo because of it involves with the secret arts. I think they may take the Tokyo story for the 3rd season. I just hope that they don't mess this one up! (Start praying for that one: onegai shimasu!!)

As for HOLiC, sounds like very good episodes to watch. I can't wait to watch for these episodes! I am sure that they will have a 2nd season for HOLiC. Sadly, if that happens we will have to wait for 6 months!! More Code Geass seiyuu that did CLAMP anime series: sweet!! \0/ I am very anxious for that series to begin its broadcasting!

For the record, I think that the Tsubasa gang is landing in a different version of Nayutaya since the original world was renamed "Nayutaya" in the anime.

The second season seems like it's been a waste, so I'm personally glad that I haven't been watching at all.

I did think about that, but I wasn't sure about it ! I know the world has been renamed, but I didn't know for what XD So, it's the same name, but a different version, then? I see... o.O

Now the seiyuu list starts looking good! [Not that it hasn't looked good before...] But Nakata Jouji and other great seiyuu! Sounds like I'll have to check Code Geass out not only because the designs are by CLAMP, but also because of the cast. Yay!

i think 2/3 of my magazines say that episode 23 is the last episode for xxxholic, then 24 is an extra .___.

Yeah, Newtype including O.o Some networks, like MBS, will air the extra as "24" ^^

The chapters of the ghost (or whatever the hell she was) woman was one of my favourite parts of the manga (it made me cry XD~)

I hope they will be good in the anime too (I actually LIKE the anime XD)

I have a little favor to ask. Can you please tell the break up chapter of Holic. Casue when it dl I have huge caps like i'll have 1-55 73-117 I can't seem to follow of what chaters I am missing cause the chapter from Del-ray is different *maybe* or Bwys scanslations *doesn't go chapter by chapter it goes ch1 and on for every chapter. (I am trying to organize my manga and it is all confusing.

if you can help that would be wonderful.

Now it seems like Holic is coming to an end ;_;, but I´m so glad we could experience the whole anime through your Lj, starting for the previous days till now, and I´m sure there will be an OAV or something ( were announced?! ´cause if that the case I might missed it ^^UUUU)
Also I´m really hapy the Watanuki's ghost friend story will be animated, it is my favourite story inside Holic unt ill now (months after I read it still makes me cry, really! XD). In the other hand, no much interest in TC... but still is good to know xD
