CLAMP NEWS !!

The release dates of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC OADs have been postponed.

- Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

08/08 - Newtype #09 - Drop. 8-A (on sale).
09/10 - Newtype #10 - Drop. 8-B.
10/10 - Newtype #11 - Drop. 9-A.

Oh yay, Kobato. remains steady. By the way, observing the latest chapters of Kobato., from now on I'll be considering its chapters as made of two halves. Therefore, the schedule information is subject to change when the actual chapters come out.



- Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

08/06 - Shonen Magazine #36 & #37 - Chapter 196 (on sale).
08/20 - Shonen Magazine #38 - Chapter 197.
08/27 - Shonen Magazine #39 - No Tsubasa scheduled.
09/03 - Shonen Magazine #40 - No Tsubasa scheduled.

According to the latest Shonen Magazine, Chapter 198 will be published in issue 41 (on sale 09/10).

• Comics:

Tsubasa #26 will be released in March/2009. That is also the release date for Tsubasa's OAD part one.

08/18 - Young Magazine #37 & #38 - Chapter 163 (on sale).
08/25 - Young Magazine #39 - No XXXHOLiC scheduled.
09/01 - Young Magazine #40 - Chapter 164.

We're halfway through volume 14.

• Comics:

Speaking of volume 14, CLAMP-NET.COM no longer states its release for January, as it was first announced. Instead, the release date of XXXHOLiC's upcoming volume and first OAD has been pushed to February/2009.

As I posted here a few weeks ago, according to Anime Anime, the OADs will be released in four consecutive months, so it's possible to conclude that the 4th OAD will be released in May/2009, regardless of that being a Tsubasa or a XXXHOLiC OAD.

All I can think at the moment for the reason of the delay might be that CLAMP needs more time to release 2 volumes of Tsubasa and 2 of XXXHOLiC in four consecutive months. It could also be that the anime staff needs more time to produce all 4 pieces.



• Game:

CLAMP drew the illustration for one of the trading cards that comes with the game Sangokushi Taisen Ten, of Marvelous Entertainment for Nintendo DS, released earlier this month.

The card is called Unusual King (王異):


Very pretty! Loved the sword.

• CLAMP in CARDLAND:

The official website of CLAMP in CARDLAND announces the release of two new series:

Series 5 - November/2008.
Series 6 - February/2009.
Series 7 - May/2009.

Wow... the postponment of the OADs left me... rather depressed xD

Terribly slow... with 14 pages it's even more painful, but at least its serialization is turning out to be very steady since it moved to Newtype.

the only thing missing is the Hebrew letters : - )

the release date of XXXHOLiC's upcoming volume and first OAD has been pushed to February/2009.
Wow, so we won't get many holic chapters in the next few months.. now that's bad. I would prefer that instead of working on other people's projects they'll work on their own..

I think we WILL be getting normal chapters. I think the postponed it so that Volume 15 can be released 2 months after Volume 14 (which is quite unusual).

Thanks for the updates. The sword from the illustration reminds me of Ashura's sword in RG Veda.

I can't wait to figure out what the hell will happen with Tsubasa.

Really? It reminded me of Shinken, but this one is lighter so it looks more like Ashura's, indeed.

i love the new drawn!!!
and aout the clamp shedule i'm kind of worry beccause they supose to start a new project next year the mangettes so they must hurry in resolve tsubasa or we will have another long last hiatus

I think they'll end both TRC and XXXHOLiC accordingly, in time for Mangettes to begin ^_~ Which would explain why it was postponed from Spring to Summer.

Cannot wait for this week's Tsubasa, but we need to wait for three weeks for the following chapitre!

The King card rocks but maybe all these breaks and postponements has to with "Mangentes" isn't it supposed to come out later this year ?That the 3-d land,Cardland,Code Geass,and the Madhouse anime our gals are pretty busy!Besides i just want them to wrap up their current manga...
