CLAMP NEWS !!

Last CLAMP-NET.COM update of 2007, and it's a very weak one...




- Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

12/10 - Newtype #01 - Drop. 3 (on sale).
01/10 - Newtype #02 - Drop. 4 - Kobato. will feature the front cover.
02/09 - Newtype #03 - Drop. 5.

Nothing added for Kobato., but yay, with the release of the tankoubon, the series has been added to their official database. Way to go, CLAMP, now you have 6 unfinished works. Time to shrink that list down, isn't it?



- Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

12/26 - Shonen Magazine #04 & 05 - Chapter 177 (on sale).
01/09 - Shonen Magazine #06 - Chapter 178.
01/16 - Shonen Magazine #07 - Chapter 179.
01/23 - Shonen Magazine #08 - Chapter 180.

Nothing added for Tsubasa as well, the serialization is planned for the entire month of January.



- Next scheduled chapters (red means new):

12/25 - Young Magazine #05 - No XXXHOLiC scheduled (on sale).
01/07 - Young Magazine #06 - Chapter 148.
01/21 - Young Magazine #07 - Chapter 149.

Just one addition for XXXHOLiC, and it's not a very pleasant one... ^^"



• CLAMP in CARDLAND:

The list of CLAMP works to appear on the 2nd Series of CLAMP in CARDLAND is finally completed. The remaining two works are X and Wish, and in case you have missed it, the 81 cards promised for the new Series will be composed by the following works:

1 - RG Veda
2 - 20 Mensho ni Onegai!!
3 - Tokyo Babylon
4 - X
5 - Mahou Kishi Rayearth
6 - Card Captor Sakura
7 - Wish
8 - Chobits
9 - XXXHOLiC
10 - Tsubasa
11 - Kobato.

It's basically the same works from the previous Series (with the exception of CLAMP Guenna's Confidantes) plus Mahou Kishi Rayearth, 20 Mensho ni Onegai!!, Tokyo Babylon and Kobato.

The new set of the CLAMP in CARDLAND cards will be released on February.

• CLAMP in 3-D LAND:

There's no real news about it, I just found these pictures of the Vampire Fye special figure, which apparently can be already obtained:


To those who don't know, this special figure could be acquired by purchasing the boxes of Series 1 to 4. There's another prize, this time a figure of The Other Syaoran, for those who purchase all 8 Series.

That's it for now, you guys, told it was a weak one...

Hum, I'm not 100% sure, but I think they mean the real Syaoran. It'll probably be a tattooed figure xD

Yes, I also want to see the end of most of those series! (then remembers that I still haven't read 18.5 of X eventhough I do have it on my computer...)

At least these 3 are *somewhat* stabile...(most of the time...)

And this is very random, but did you read the recent chapter yet? Becuase page 7 decided to wake me up at 4 am with the thought that Sakura may be remember something that she not supposed to...and that the scene from the beginning might be coming soon...(sorry for the randomness...you can ignore this...)

HOPEFULLY, by the end of 2008 (or very beginning of 2009) that list will be 2-items shorter ^_~

Gaaaah @_@ hopefully either X and/or GD will be back soon.

And yes, I've read the chapter... Hum, you might be right. But we can't tell for sure if she remembered of "it" just because CLAMP drew it. Maybe they just wanted to illustrate her words.

There is a possibility, though... she seems to know something we don't.

Thanks for the latest CLAMP news and updates as always. So TRC gets another breaker due to the New Year's holidays. That's all right!! ^^ However, it is once again sad on not getting much HOLiC chapters. ;____;

Oohh, that is a very nice and sexy Infinity!Fai figurine!! ^o^ Dang, that pose sure spells "Fanservice!!" to those heavy Fai fangirls. XDDD Surprise, surprise, for a figure of Cloney will be featured. I can't wait to see how that one looks like. *curious to know*

It's because of the double issue. Technically is not TRC that is on a break, rather the magazine, instead xD

That's what I was thinking. But TRC and Holic will end soon, probably this year, and then it will only be 4 series: Kobato, X, Legal Drug and...I forget. Brain breaking!

But seriously, Kobato volume 1 came with a survey postcard, and one of the questions was "do you have anything to say to CLAMP?" and I wrote, "can you please finish X and Legal Drug if possible?"

Don't forget, Chun Hyang is unfinished, too...

7 series. *sigh*

Well, TRC and HOLiC should be finished next year(ish) and I honestly believe they'll pick up Legal Drug when they're finished with TRC and HOLiC (they've never stopped drawing the GD boys in their CLAMP_PLA.NET section). That'll just leave Kobato, still being released, and then the three of little hope...

*sigh*

Oh, that's right! But at least it's not "officially" unfinished. I think Shin Shunkaden has a much lower priority than the others. They have REALLY put it aside. But yeah, CLAMP acknowledges that what's been published is not the complete story.

I had nothing constructive to say, but after reading all the comments I want to be the black sheep and say... I don't like that figurine XD

It's Fay! And it's too serious! >-< I prefer my hyper!Fay (or my emo-in-denial-hyper!Fay) anytime 8D I like the ponytail, though XDDD

AHAHAHAHAHAH XD *bitter laugh* 6 unfinished works?! That reminds me of myself.. and my unfinished projects.. I wonder how CLAMP feels about that. Because, in my case, it keeps bugging me all the time.. and I said that I was gonna finish *one* before this year ended but.. alas.. I have had no time at all ;__;

And *why* have they left Gouhou Drug and Clover unfinished, btw? Shouldn't they have finished those before beginning new projects?! looks who's talking *ahem* I don't think they had problems publishing those like they had with X... right? :/ *is ignorant*

I think the figure is cute XD But I can't deny that with that look and that blood on his hand, he reminds me so much of Chuchy from Child's Play xDDDDD

They are just like Leonardo Da Vinci in this point... they have so much ideas they love to begin something but NEVER FINISH IT! *enraged* xDDDDD

CLOVER, X and GD have a magazine problem. All of them don't have a magazine that is suitable for their contents. CLOVER's case is more serious because it's rights belongs to Kodansha and right now they don't have a magazine that suits CLOVER.

GD seems to be the next dropped work to be picked up again, since CLAMP said themselves that there is nothing wrong with it and that they'll resume it in the near future (it's been 1 and a half year since they said that xD). However, GD had also a magazine problem. Mystery DX got cancelled and ASUKA "let" CLAMP publish one more volume in it's pages. But now they say there's nothing wrong with it so I wonder if they found another magazine to run it......

X's case is a mystery to me, honestly xD Apparently ASUKA is not suitable for X, anymore... so they have to find another way to publish the remaining of the story.

I just really hope that after the "Tsunami" that TRC and XXXHOLiC has been, they really start dealing with X and GD, at least.

The vampie Fai figure is amazing, I didn't think they'd make it. The normal one, yeah, but not as a vampire. This is a bit off topic, but have they made any X figures yet? Its just that I haven't seen them anywhere.
