Favorite Talk of Flour Fortress

The special guest of this episode is Miyu Irino, Syaoran's seiyuu in Tsubasa Chronicle.

First of all, CLAMP told him that when Yui Makino and Yukana were there, they called them Princess and Queen, respectively, as for Miyu, CLAMP call him "Miyumiyu" xDDDDDD Don't ask me why, though!

He presented himself and then CLAMP went on with the usual profile questions (birthday, hometown, etc). One question was how many people lived in his house (I think), and he said that apart from his family, he had two birds. Ohkawa asked him their names and he said they were called "Cedric" and "Sora".

The CLAMP members were really amazed by the names. Ohkawa asked why Cedric and I was SO hoping Miyu would mention Harry Potter but he didn't u.u He said where he took the name from but I couldn't understand. The other bird, Sora, was named after Kingdom Heart's Sora, of course, another character to whom Miyu lent his voice to.

About his taste in music, Miyu said he's not fond of any particular genre. He's into love songs and, if I got it right, not into heavy metal.

The next questions were related to his work, and these ones I couldn't really catch anything, but he mentioned his audition for Tsubasa Chronicle (something about a jinx? o.o).

Later, CLAMP made him say a tongue-twister, but he fails XDD So far only Yukana and Nakai managed to speak those tongue-twisters fast and flawless xD Miyu sounded pretty disappointed for not succeeding, poor him xD

We proceed to the e-mails corner now. The first e-mail regarded the Holitsuba Drama CD, but unfortunately I couldn't understand the question, let alone the answer xD

And finally, as it was expected, they eventually reached the subject of Tsubasa's OAD (but not before finding troubles to speak "OAD" properly XD). However, I don't think anything too relevant was said since the recording sessions haven't started yet. I think Miyu must have only shown his excitement towards the project, having to play 2 Syaorans now, or something like that.

These shows are getting longer and longer, this one has 38 minutes o.o not that I mind, of course! XD So far CLAMP-NET has no more guests listed to appear on the show, so I guess it'll be just the 4 of them for the upcoming episodes.

Wait, you mean that at the time this was recorded the sessions for the OVAs hadn't begun, or they still haven't started now? Because... they are inching closer and I'd imagine they'd have to have at least started by now. O.O

I mean both. This was recorded quite sometime ago, maybe a month ago (I know because Ohkawa posted on her Private Board when she met Miyu, I suppose for the radio recording, and that was sometime ago).

But I don't think the seiyuu recording have started yet. We would have seen something in the Producer's diary, and the recording can't happen without the animation being 100% completed. It's the last stage, recording and sound mixing.

They pretty much have 2 months to end everything until the preview section on October 21st.

I'm a new friend on the list, and I wanted to just stop and say thank you for all the information. I love CLAMP (heck, did my thesis on X!) but lately, work's been pretty busy and I don't have the resources to keep up. Thanks to you, though, I really feel in the loop. You rock! :-D

You so should! There's enough material in CLAMP's manga to keep theorists happy for years. I don't know why more academics haven't pounced on "X"! If you can find an advisor who's interested, go for it!

Too bad he did not mention Harry Potter for the bird called Cedric. I'll try to download and listen to MiyuMiyu's voice! It will be sooo cute!

Aww... a bird called Sora! How cute :3 (I think Sora is my favourite of all his roles: he was awesome, cute and powerful when he portrayed him *__*). I secretly hoped he named Cedric out of HP too XD I must admit I don't usually follow your CLAMP radio news u_u But this and MiyuMiyu was too cute not to comment XD

I never played KH in japanese. But since Sora is very much like Syaoran, I'm sure he must have played it brilliantly.

I know a lot of people don't, its quite hard to listen to 40 minutes of something that you don't understand entirely.

I think what I heard was that Cedric was from a character from an anime long time ago or something. I never heard of that anime, so...

Cedric was actually from the character he did in the play, called Little Prince, when he was young.
