Time to check the performance of the final volume of Tsubasa in the japanese rankings!

11/18~11/25

1st - Detective Conan #66
2nd - Tsubasa #28
3rd - Mahou-sensei Negima!

• Oricon Weekly Ranking:

11/16~11/23

1st - Detective Conan #66
2nd - FAIRY TAIL #18
3rd - Tsubasa #28

According to Oricon, the regular edition of Tsubasa #28 sold 195.137 copies in its first week, very good! For comparison purposes, the regular edition of Tsubasa #27 sold almost 100.000 in its first week. This volume sold almost twice as much than volume 27 in the first week.

No sign of the deluxe edition in any of the rankings.

Continuing with the Tsubasa spree this week, vegetas scanned the full volume 28 of Tsubasa and some bits from the − ALBuM De REPRoDUCTioNS 2 − artbook (CLAMP's comments and the Omakes).

• Tsubasa:

The tankoubon edition of Tsubasa #28 has 9 additional pages from the epilogue chapter that were not printed in the magazine.

cutesherry scanned those pages and uploaded them here. The translation from those pages by starlady38 can be found here. Make sure to check them out!

The final Tsubasa volume has 268 pages. I think that's the largest tankoubon released by CLAMP to date? I don't remember how many pages RG Veda #10 has.

I was happy with the additional pages because they reveal a bit more about Fei Wang Reed's origins and somehow give a more satisfying idea of who he was.

• Kobato.:

There will be a customer service available for those who buy DVDs 1 to 6 where applicants will be presented with a bottle made of glass just like Kobato's.

The limited edition of DVD 2 will come with an original Talk CD featuring Kobato and Kohaku, while the limited edition of DVD 3 will come with an Ioryogi plush toy strap (check the picture at the official website).

Lastly, Kadokawa will release an official guide for the TV series entitled TV Anime "Kobato." CHARACTERS COLLECTION. This will be released on January 29.

cardcaptorkiki has kindly scanned the covers, postcards, obis, pamphlets and everything *new* that comes with the normal and deluxe editions of Tsubasa #28.

Because these were so requested, I asked a friend of mine to download the cell phone wallpapers of Fye & Kurogane that are available at the CLAMP@MOBiLE website. They are slightly bigger than the images I posted yesterday, but then again this is as big as I could obtain.

Tsubasa − ALBuM De REPRoDUCTioNS 2 − will be released on November 17, along with Tsubasa #28.

The anime adaptation of Angelic Layer (originally aired in 2001) will get a new DVD Box release and, for the first time, a Blu-Ray release.

According to CD Japan, they will be released on March 26 and will feature pictured-label and digipack. Each release also include an original card.

The DVD Box will cost 25.200 yens and the Blu-Ray Box 47.000 yens.

Also, I think this is the first time that both covers feature the same situation (Syaoran's costume is the same in both covers).

Both editions of Tsubasa #28 go on sale November 17, along with the series' 2nd Artbook (its cover hasn't been announced yet).

Just a heads up that the official website of the Kobato. TV Anime added a report from the Kobato. Museum that is being held at the Ikebukuro Animate store until November 1st.

According to this blog, this week's issue of Young Magazine is announcing that the upcoming new XXXHOLiC OAD will be released along with volume 17 in the Spring of 2010.

So the schedule goes as following:

December 22, 2009 - XXXHOLiC #16.
Spring 2010 - XXXHOLiC #17 with limited edition OAD.

Seems like XXXHOLiC will go on for a little longer. Personally I don't like that, but oh well xD

I'm starting to think the series has been extended beyond CLAMP's original plan due to its popularity.
